Original lyrics
[Sung simultaneously start]
[Narrator in background]
[Sung simultaneously end]「

Translation
Hear from hades, the maiden of flame with the empire's light -MOGARI-
「Amidst the wandering corpses harbouring anguish, grief and rage,
I proclaim to my fellow brethren living in pain―――。」
「I shall once more, raise those curtains―――。」1
【Mankind heads toward the firmament】2whether love lies yonder remains uncertain
As the distant dawn ignites the sky, drops of water scatter as bubbles
「By the sown seeds opening their buds our purpose will continually change」
【Mankind heads toward the vacant sky】2Like a flower drenched in, and subsequently freezing with grief
Even those words are thy cry
【“A monster hath plunged its claws into the earth, the abyss illuminated by its blue eyes is grotesque
Is it one's own desires, or a thirst for power that makes one crawl about?”】3
If the things ought to be loved were to be torn apart, nothing would remain here thereafter
The crooked will, long since ordained, shall be feasting upon those of no resistance
Cherry blossoms scatter so as to make flowers bloom anew
With thy hands dyed crimson a flame wast lit in thy heart
Come now, take the light of the empire and rise! Be the shield protecting thy loved ones!
And with the light spread by thy scarlet oath relent not till thee crumble away to dust
With thy feelings―――。4
「Death beckons as we, of such diminutive role,
will easily be swallowed infront of this grand world」
「A grievous repetition by ye5 who fail to comprehend one another ―――。」
A world beyond saving by the sins of its past
Is this world without a tomorrow wishing for it's demise?
「Just like water runs down into the depths, mankind will be washed away into the abyss。」
「The lament will assume form and find its way here―――。」
【Calamity…Malice…Despair……!】2
Born in the distance but yet to be seen,
the extolment of my brethren
My hope lies therein, so that I may see thee someday
【“A monster hath plunged its claws into the earth, the abyss illuminated by its blue eyes is grotesque
Is it one's own desires, or a thirst for power that makes one crawl about?”】2
If the things ought to be loved were to be eradicated, all we call spirit would be gone thereafter
The festered curse laid upon by fate hath ripped those lacking atonement to shreds
Cherry blossoms scatter so as to make flowers bloom anew
With thy hands dyed crimson, a flame wast lit in thy heart
Come now, take the light of the empire and rise! Be the shield protecting thy loved ones!
And with the light spread by thy scarlet oath, relent not till thee crumble away to dust
With heaven out of sight6, thou struggle with death to protect thy loved ones till the end
Shine the glistening light of thy scarlet oath so that thou may clasp onto this hand of mine7
With my feelings―――。
[Sung simultaneously start]
Though the world laughs, as if ridiculing us,
this story spun with ever persistent intent,
hath those wishes extolled
See the death in valour from afar and recognize it―――。
[Narrator in background] 8
「Ah- though the world laughs, as if ridiculing us,
we will continue spinning the thread, with everpersistent will, so that this story may continue
Thus this world will be spoken of once more
on the verge of a glorious death, it is what is to be seen by you5―――。」
[Sung simultaneously end]「Come now! Let's head toward this story yet to be know
A descendant9 of deific heritage, his fancies leading up to proclamation and atonement―――。
What's called for by love and hate, wriggles about in hades。」
- 1. "Raising the curtains" is a frequently used phrase said at the beginning of their songs, it seems to allude to the overarching world these songs play in. I think they call it "Decadenscene".
- 2. a. b. c. d. Taihaisekai
- 3. 1. Taihaisekai
- 4. Translated as "Feelings" here because of 想 instead of 思 for おもい. As far as I know 想 is a kanji used in more poetic and sentimental settings, often referring to feelings instead of thoughts
- 5. a. b. Plural
- 6. Though heaven is not directly mentioned here, it is the way I made sense of "rivalry/opposing" + "underworld/hades/hell". I think it fits better here. I'm open to suggestions
- 7. notice that this is sung the same way it was the first time, but 赫く・sparkling is substituted for 緋く・scarlet, and 明・bright for 灯・light. So I tried to reflect that in my translation to some degree
- 8. This part is taken from the old version of this song
- 9. Although it is an archaic meaning of のち it fits best into the context. And it works since they specified のち as the reading of 後

The lyrics in those big black brackets are sung in their imaginary language "Taihaisekai".
I chose to not translate the -殯- in the title, as it does not belong to it in that sense. It merely indicates that this yomi yori belongs to their newest album. About the meaning of 殯: https://jisho.org/search/%E6%AE%AF
I tried using archaic and/or poetic english for this translation. It's been a bit difficult at times since I haven't really gotten all that much into old(er) english but I think it turned out well enough, for me at least.
