Zikr-i Hakka meşgul ola, yana yana ta kül ola
Her kim diler makbul ola tevhide boyanmak gerek
Eyven kişi yol alamaz maksudunu tez bulamaz
Yoğ olmayan var olamaz varını dağıtmak gerek
Dervişlerin en alçağı buğday içinde burçağı
Bu Mısri gibi balçığı her bir ayak basmak gerek

Translation
The One Who Becomes A Dervish
The one who becomes a dervish must be a lover, and loyal on his path
His breast must be burnt (with passion), his soul's eyes must be open
He must walk lower than low, he must decay within the earth
He must melt in the fire of love, he must flow like pure gold
He must be occupied with the remembrance of the Truth (God), burning until he turns to ash
Whoever desires to be accepted (by God) must be dyed in Tawhid (the Oneness of God)
The one who is impatient cannot make progress on the path, nor find their goal quickly
The one who doesn't become "nothing" cannot "exist"; he must scatter his possessions and his self
The lowest of these dervishes is like the vetch among the wheat
Like this Mısri, who is mere mud, every foot must step upon him
