Onwards to Saigon

From inside the metropolis, bathed in electric-glow, laughter has gone
Amid thatched houses in the five suburbs come sighs day and night
Our homeland is hurting and laments of the oppression of their hearts
Oh, Saigon! We have returned, we have returned
Gliding over sun and sea, over guns and bombs, we come abounding
The homeland is calling to advance and exterminate the American forces!
Advance on Saigon and sweep away the invaders
Head for the plains as we advance towards the metropolis!
 
I’ll return home when the light of peace finally peer over the horizon
I’ll return home when the foreign invaders are in shreds and breathing their last
On the road home our mother’s worries echo in our ears
But now, double step for the soldiers liberating the metropolis!
Stand tall on the boulevards and smash the invaders
