This was the Aboriginal haka-like war cry used by the Kangaroos (the Australia national rugby league team) between 1908 and 1967 before the matches.
The lyrics are possibly in Jagera (known also as Yuggera) language on in Nunukul language, since it originated from Stradbroke Island and a modified version was performed at the 2011 NRL All Star game by the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Troupe accompanying the Indigenous All Stars.
