Translation
I and your cat
Warm rain and beautiful music
The singing of birds, sounds of the salty sea
When she laid down to sleep
He was chasing her in her dreams
A handsome young man with a flower
To the Beatles' song, barefoot
When she laid down to sleep
He was chasing her in her dreams
A handsome young man with a flower...
I and your cat warm your bed
You can't fall asleep without us, you can't run away from us
When she laid down to sleep
He was chasing her in her dreams
A handsome young man with a flower
To the Beatles' song, barefoot
When she laid down to sleep
He was chasing her in her dreams
A handsome young man with a flower...

You're right that it should be 'was catching' instead of 'caught', but I decided to change it to 'was chasing' because it sounds nicer and also makes more sense; also I don't think the translation has to be completely literal.
As for the I/me suggestion, following the rules of English grammar it has to be 'I'.
Thank you for the welcome. :)
