Author's comments:

This song was hard to translate, I left some parts out because there is just no way to say them in English.

Palestinian women used to sing this song in front of the jail to let the revolutionaries (their men) know that there are some ¨squads¨ coming to set them free
and they used to add the letter L to many words to confuse the non-Arabic prison keeper so that they only deliver their message to the captives.

the term Ya man does not have a meaning we just use it in songs.
