Can you please change the dub title to "圣诞夜惊魂"? That one is actually for the Taiwanese Mandarin (which is still haven't been found) version. I got that realization on the Dubbing Database wiki just now.

Taiwan = 圣诞夜惊魂
Hong Kong = 怪诞城之夜

So you're wrong on that one.

How am I wrong though? Guess the Dubbing Database wiki is not really accurate at telling the film's dubs' titles.

聖誕夜驚魂 = Mandarin (Mainland China)
聖誕夜驚魂 = Mandarin (Taiwan)
怪誕城之夜 = Cantonese

Where are you getting "圣诞夜惊魂" from?

If I can guess correctly, this Mandarin dub was probably recorded around 1996-1998. This is all just speculation as on the Dubbing Database wiki, it still says "unknown release date".

After some digging around and doing actual fact checking, not "speculation" as you seem to do, here is what I have:

1. Chinese Mandarin (Mandarin spoken in mainland China) = 聖誕夜驚魂 (see: https://imgur.com/a/oDKsfyI)
2. Taiwanese Mandarin (Mandarin spoken in Taiwan) = 圣诞夜惊魂 (see: https://imgur.com/a/YfFR6GA)1

You asked me to change the title to "圣诞夜惊魂".

This collection and all the songs added to it are in Chinese Mandarin and thus, the title = 聖誕夜驚魂

  • 1. Disney + as far as I know doesn't have an actual Taiwanese Mandarin dub, only subtitles, thus why we get the title card "圣诞夜惊魂"

There is no Canadian French nor Taiwanese Mandarin. They only have subtitles.

Do not rely on The Dubbing Database, it is not always accurate. There might be dubbings but through independent TV stations, and if that is the case then more than likely, we'll never know unless someone recorded it.
