Come near me now sounds much stranger than come to me now does in a love song, although you could say come close to me now.
Hug me in your arms is not idiomatic English; you could say hug me, or hold me in your arms. Gather me in your arms is a more formal and old-fashioned way of saying this.
As for the feminine heart, although English officially doesn't have gendered nouns, in poetry it's ok and I think it's cute to leave it the way it is.
