Reflection
Reflection (Reflexión)
Tenía miedo a caer, miedo al dolor.
Tenía aún más miedo a calumnias.
Tenía miedo de ser odiado por hablar mal.
Mirando hacia atrás, me siento estúpido.
Tómalo un poco más tranquilo (easy, easy 2).
Sea un poco más preciso (easy, easy 2).
Hey baby.
Get ready.
Come and listen to my reflection. 3
Revelaré mis cicatrices.
Tengo listas las balas.
(Está bien, tiré todas las decoraciones.
No haré más los papeles anticuados.
No lo analices para mi.)
Un ángulo revolucionario.
No tengo miedo de no tener vuelta atrás.
(Keep going.
I'ma keep going.
This is my reflection.) 4
He sobrevivido a la oscuridad.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
He superado la depresión.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
He dejado de indignarme.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
Ya pasó, no sirve de nada quedarme en casa.
Me doy la vuelta enseguida.
Reflection
(Turn around, get on track
Just follow how I feel)
Reflection
(Turn around, don't look back
cuz it ain't a big deal)
Reflection
(Turn around get on track
Just follow how I feel girl)
Reflection 6
Me he equivocado, me he retirado.
Incluso me he comprometido y he dicho que me encanta.
He prometido que cambiaré ante cualquier acusación.
Es como si sólo los obedientes fueran considerados genios.
¿Demasiado cuadrado, puntiagudo? (easy, easy2).
¿Demasiado alto, llamativo? (easy, easy2).
Hey baby.
Get ready.
Come and listen to my reflection. 3
Revelaré mis cicatrices.
Tengo listas las balas.
(Volveré a expresarme.
No me limitaré por las normas,
me expresaré así de simple)
Un ángulo revolucionario.
No tengo miedo de no tener vuelta atrás.
(It's my show.
I decide how it goes.)
This is my reflection. 7
He sobrevivido a la oscuridad.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
He superado la depresión.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
He dejado de indignarme.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
Ya pasó, no sirve nada quedarme en casa.
Me doy la vuelta enseguida.
Miro el espejo.
Esta persona
se parece a mí.
Perseveró durante los contratiempos.
Y está absorto en lo que hace.
It's still me but not me.
Evolved from reflection.
Take my hand.
Come with me.
Fly away, away from the bad old days. 8
He explorado el cielo.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
He matado la ansiedad.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
Me he vuelto más fuerte.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
Ya pasó, no sirve nada volver a mirarlo.
Sígueme a lo lejos.
He sobrevivido a la oscuridad.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
(I'm gonna let it go) 8
He superado la depresión.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
(I'm gonna let it go) 8
He dejado de indignarme.
(Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye) 5
(I'm gonna let it go) 8
Ya pasó, no sirve nada quedarme en casa.
Me doy la vuelta enseguida.
Veo la vida nueva en el espejo.

Prepárate.
Escucha a mi reflexión.
Voy a seguir adelante.
Esta es mi reflexión.
(Date la vuelta, prepárate
Siente lo que siento)
Reflexión
(Date la vuelta, no mires atrás,
porque no es gran cosa)
Reflexión
(Date la vuelta, prepárate
Siente lo que siento, cariño)
Yo decido cómo va.)
Esta es mi reflexión.
Viene de mi reflejo.
Toma mi mano.
Ven conmigo.
Volemos lejos de los viejos tiempos malos.

Please, translate title and English lyrics into Spanish as well.
Perhaps in footnote? Foreign words in source text are usually not translated into the target language of the translated text.
Why not? If you're translating for Spanish speaking people, not everyone is going to understand the English words. I guess you want people to understand the entire text, both Chinese and English verses.
Thanks for your comments. I'll add the footnotes when they are ready. They were kept in the original English to retain their effect in the source text. Using English instead of Cantonese in those lines is intentional in the source text. The understandability of the English part of this song and the functions of using English in pop songs is comparable in the two language communities concerned so that's why it makes sense to keep the English.
Hi, I understand that you would like to keep the effect of code-switching in the songs, but the purpose of a translation is first and foremost be made understandable to all in the related community. I would agree with [@MissAtomicLau]'s comment here: not everyone is going to understand the English words, so I think it would be a good idea to translate even those verses. If they want to see how the code-switching effect plays out they can already see and compare it in the original verses, since it's always there if you read a translation on LT.
Notes have been added to achieve both goals here. The mouseover works well for the notes so both style and substance have been catered for.
PS I see that a lot of your translations are flagged with the poetic tag... Personally I don't think it should be used unless there is a substantial reworking of the lyrics for a certain purpose e.g. singability, change of setting to make the lyrics more relatable to the local language community (e.g. "Hong Kong" to "Barcelona"), but I am not sure what the Spanish LT community has in mind so I'll let them comment on this.
Thanks a lot! As the definition in the FAQ does not indicate that the tag should only be used when there is a substantial amount of addition/omission/substituted concepts, I've submitted an equiry about this in the Contact Form. In the meantime, I'll remove the tag and add a footnote to the same effect in case there are users (e.g. language learners) looking for word-for-word translation.
