Wolf heart

Wolf heart
There’s no time to tell her everything
No time to keep her hushed up
Just enough to attempt the lecherous
So she would know that I want her to like me
Beneath the folds of the wrappings
The urge to creep in
The folly of being good if she wants
Or not to hold her in my arms
When the chick suddenly starts losing some of her plumage
My eyelet is making eyes at her
And howling at the moon doesn’t even scare me
On condition that she likes it

There’s just one thing I feel like doing
Indulging myself

The victim is so pretty
And the crime so fun

I don’t need a lot
But little won’t do either
By means of a crazy love note
So she would know that she’s killing me
That’s the case of kamikaze
It’s the ABC of the condemned
The legionnaire who wants travel benefits
Without being committed
She’s so fragile as she
Avoids my overflow of love
I guess she supposes
That I’ll always love her
My finger on an adventure
My foot in inventory
Even if the affair isn’t certain

Don’t run away, don’t be upset

I just feel like doing one thing
Indulging myself
The victim is so pretty
And the crime so fun

Wolf heart
Fear of the bed
Seduce her
Without wasting one more second
Follow the swing
It’s the King’s stroke of the gong. Bong!
Wolf heart
Could you read me?
My call to
Sweet sins
Come out of the ring

It’s the King’s stroke of the gong. Bong!

No time to lie
Or leave the stage
Yep! She’ll be blushing alright
In any case she has to love me
I just feel like doing one thing
Indulging myself
The victim is so pretty
And the crime so fun

No time to tell her everything
Or leave the stage
Yep! She’ll be blushing alright
In any case she’ll have to love me

Chorus:
Wolf heart

Fear of intimacy
Seduce her
Without delay
Where she is
Oh la la!
Beautiful neckline
Fine babe
Wolf heart
Could you read
My call to
Merry sins
Say a lot
Saying no
It’s pretty
When it’s ugly

There are a few corny puns hidden in there, for instance "de faufiler -> de faux-filet" (as if he was unwrapping a piece of meat)
"satyre" doesn't make sense , it should be spelled "satire" (like in English), but it's just a keyword to evoke a lecherous guy indeed.
"d'un coup d'elle..." does not really make sense, it's just a funny way of comparing her to a "poule" (chick)

un billet fou -> that would be a crazy loving note

But all in all you did a nice job. It's a funny song and your translation sounds funny too.

Most of your commentary is digging up the pun buried in the text, and I'm grateful but unsure of how to incorporate them into the translation. I guess it's meant for the reader.

Just two words about the strangeness of the French, yes.
