I am a native speaker of Polish. I am fluent in English and I can communicate easily in Catalan, Italian, Spanish and French. I also studied Portuguese, but my level is not impressive.

I translate mostly from the above mentioned languages into my native language but sometimes also into Catalan, Italian, French, Spanish or English (not into Portuguese, though). Occasionally, I also translate (indirectly) from other languages and/or dialects, but these translations require extra effort and extra time and are not my first choice.

My focus is on songs, not on poetry, so please do not expect me to read poems (with the exception of ones that are put to music) and/or translate them. When I pick out songs for translation, my personal preferences and choices are considered first. I am very selective about translation requests so please do not be offended if I disregard your request. Please do not send me requests directly via PM, nor put pressure on me in any way.

Proofreading is not my cup of tea. Apart from pointing out a typo here and there, I just don't feel like checking other people's translations.

My main goal on this website is to enjoy my hobbies (music, the art of translation) rather than to socialize. I am not a sociable person and I am fine with it. Please respect it and do not insist if for any reason I am unresponsive. In particular, I refuse to be involved in any fights on LT or to be bothered by people with stalking behaviours.
