Vida
Sin ti, sobra en mí la ternura...
Sin ti, ¿de qué vale existir?
Estoy embrujada contigo
y me das el castigo
de no ser para mí.
Siento regresar en el viento
siempre tu palabra y tu voz.
Lloro, mi dolor tiene acento
de esperanza perdida
que aún pretende luchar.
¡Vida!
No porque me abandones
inventado razones
te dejaré de amar.
¡Vida!
Dentro de mí eres tanto
que no me importa el llanto
que derramé por ti.
Siento regresar en el viento
siempre tu palabra y tu voz.
Lloro, mi dolor tiene acento
de esperanza perdida
que aún pretende luchar.
¡Vida!
No porque me abandones
inventado razones
te dejaré de amar... ¡ay!
¡Vida!
Dentro de mí eres tanto
que no me importa el llanto
que derramé por ti...
Que derramé por ti...
¡Que derramé por ti!
Por ti...
Dearest
Without you, sweetness has no meaning to me...
Without you, what's the point in living?
I've been bewitched by you
And you constantly punish me
By not being mine.
I always feel, coming back with the wind
Your words and your voice.
I cry, and my pain has the sound
Of a lost hope
That still refuses to give up.
Dearest!
Even though you've abandoned me
Using feeble excuses
I won't stop loving you.
Dearest!
To me, you are so great
That I don't care about the tears
That I've shed over you.
I always feel, coming back with the wind
Your words and your voice.
I cry, and my pain has the sound
Of a lost hope
That still refuses to give up.
Dearest!
Even though you've abandoned me
Using feeble excuses
I won't stop loving you.
Dearest!
To me, you are so great
That I don't care about the tears
That I've shed over you.
That I've shed over you...
That I've shed over you!
Over you...

Please, note that in Spanish "vida" (literaly, "life"), can be used as an affectionate expression equivalent to "darling" or "dearest".
