一歩一歩が足の裏を劈いて
鈍感な心も跳ね上がって過呼吸気味
「もう僕を守るものはないけれど」
続きは出てこない
情景に彷徨い
 
どうしても肌をすり抜ける全てに
どうしても別れを言えなかった
 
新しいこと始める度に
内心誰かが邪魔をする
電車の中じゃ大人たちはスマホに夢中なのに
「誰も僕を止められない、止めるのは僕自身だ」
そう俯き呟いた
後悔に彷徨い
 
どうしても知れないことがある
どうしてもうまく呼吸ができない
リュックサックに詰めたハリボテの双眼鏡
彷徨い歩く僕ら何が見えるかな
 
スニーカーを買い替えて
長い髪もバッサリ切った
ショートカットで見る世界は何故か妙に色彩が綺麗で
思わず口から出た
「もう僕を守るものはないけれど」
「それでもいい　傷ついた過去があるから」
 
どうしても別れを言えなかった
どうしても上手く涙が出せない
旅立つ僕にはどうにも言えない
霞んで頭を彷徨う
さよならが言えなかった
 
知らない街ばかりになって
埃が目の中に入って
ささくれがまた痛み出して
心細くなって陽の明かりが邪魔をする
 
ポケットのチョコレートは無くなって
不安ばかりが連なった
電車を降りたら知らない世界で
「それでもいい　寂しさは思い出となるから」
変わりゆく自分にまだ初めましてが言えない
 
運命を妄想と呼んで
別れを悪戯と笑った
培った人生を置いて
見たいものを見るんだ
スニーカーも長い髪も
自分さえ不確かなままで
何と出会うかな
生涯を流離い　永遠を彷徨い

Wandering

Step by step, the soles of my feet are tearing
And my dull heart is beating so fast I can hardly breathe
"Even though nothing is protecting me anymore"
The future is not coming
As I keep wandering through the scenery
 
To everything that slips past me, no matter what
I couldn't say farewell, no matter what
 
On my journey to try new things
I kept expecting someone to get in my way
Despite all the adults on the train being engrossed with their phones
"Nobody else can stop me, only I can"
I muttered with my head hanging down
Wandering through my regrets
 
There will always be things I don't know about, no matter what
I find it hard to breathe no matter what
I packed my old binoculars in my rucksack
We might see something while wandering around
 
I bought new sneakers and replaced my old ones
And chopped off my long hair
The unusual colors of the world I saw when taking a shortcut were so beautiful
I absent-mindedly said:
"Even though nothing is protecting me anymore"
"This is fine, I was hurt in the past"
 
I couldn't say farewell no matter what
I can't cry no matter what
I couldn't say anything to my traveling self
Wandering through my foggy mind
I couldn't say goodbye
 
I'm now surrounded by an unknown city
Some dust got into my eyes
My hangnail started hurting again
And the sunlight kept bothering my now hopeless self
 
The chocolate in my pocket is now gone
I only brought uneasiness with me
When I got off the train to an unknown world
"This is fine, this loneliness will one day become a precious memory"
I still can't say "Nice to meet you" to my changing self
 
Call fate a fantasy
Laugh at farewells like you would to pranks
Leave behind the life you have worked for
I'm seeing what I want to see
My sneakers, my long hair
And even my own self are uncertain
I wonder if I'll encounter something
Roaming through life, eternally wandering
 
I wanted to see the world no matter what
I wanted to know the world no matter what
