Cigar

[Chorus]
The girls on the floor love our bodies
They think they're great, they're tiptop
They hear Bikstok's sound and give it up
We'll keep playing as long as there are broads1 enough
The girls on the floor like our cigar (our cigar!)
They love us and the money we have (the money we have!)
They hear Bikstok's sound and are ready (yes, then they're ready!)
Blæs Bukki, Eagger and Phar-far

"Yeah, I hear you've been to Jamaica. Cool clothes"

[Eaggermand]
Check out my gold watch, check out my bird in a gold cage
They think I'm mad when I feat it bulgur
Look at my style, look at my big moneybag
It's bling-bling like Gammel Kongevej2
So move, move, I'm saying: "Out of the way, out of the way"
You chase around my leg and spread rumors
Bikstok are the ones who never flee
You know we have lights and torches, crush all the wretched
And tackle those who falter, we talk like oracles
[Brlrblrlbrlblrl] Oracles
So miss, listen up, we can do much more
Let me see you move your tail to my house and bark my staff there

[Chorus]
The girls on the floor love our bodies
They think they're great, they're tiptop
They hear Bikstok's sound and give it up
We'll keep playing as long as there are broads enough
The girls on the floor like our cigar
They love us and the money we have
They hear Bikstok's sound and are ready
Blæs Bukki, Eagger and Phar-far

[Blæs Bukki]
Once upon a time I could afford a boat with a sundeck
But then I ran into you
I gave you a watch and trip to Tivoli3
But you said bumbiddi-bye-bye
Now I live in a Hong Kong Chinese hotel
And I live on blubber from a whale
My Chivas is thinned with water
And my ship is drydocked
Money — gives you access to stunning butt girls
Money — Babylon is build from paper
Money, money — look at the little honey bees
Flying around and around — around in a ring, gathering golden sprouts

[Natasja]
Now you know the tone's been set, take care,
Bikstok have taken charge of the conversation, now you know
We make you mad with vague talk and soundboys say thank you
And hit back, they don't understand a thing, they think we have a secret sound pact
No shade, you'll never understand our beat now that we've decided on our style
Like Spanish Town in the middle of Copenhagen, my herbal tea makes you better
Little T is my name and Islands Brygge is my harbour

[Chorus]
The girls on the floor love our bodies
They think they're great, they're tiptop
They hear Bikstok's sound and give it up
We'll keep playing as long as there are broads enough
The girls on the floor like our cigar
They love us and the money we have
They hear Bikstok's sound and are ready
Blæs Bukki, Eagger and Phar-far

[Pharfar]
I dig down my money in a dark forest
I take the bus every day and get a plough
Then I go to my secret night club
I put my money on grass, I put dolls on my stump
Then I take a tram out to Christianshavn
Where all broads know my name
We blow grass and roll up as if for a carnival
I'm dressed up as Captain Hook, you're a circus clown

[Chorus]
The girls on the floor love our bodies
They think they're great, they're tiptop
They hear Bikstok's sound and give it up
We'll keep playing as long as there are broads enough
The girls on the floor like our cigar
They love us and the money we have
They hear Bikstok's sound and are ready
Blæs Bukki, Eagger and Phar-far

  • 1. The word used in Danish here, "kone", means "wife" in contemporary Danish and is an older word for "woman". It carries both age and class implications - back when "kone" was a common word for "woman" it would only be used about lower class women, standing in contrast to "dame" ie "lady." In contemporary Danish, "damer" is often used to refer to the women the speaker is or wants to sleep with, so the usage of "koner" here in the same meaning is unusual and seems deliberately in contradiction to that usage of "damer." Furthermore, "kone" with it's meaning of "wife" concurs up the image of a woman old enough to have children. Thus the word choice here arguably also implies that the women Bikstok are sleeping with are around the same age as the Bikstok members themselves were when the song was written
  • 2. A street in a wealthy area of Copenhagen
  • 3. An amusement park in central Copenhagen
