Generally a great translation but for one thing - the 'faut-il' lines are all questions 'is it necessary to' probably best translated as 'must we'. This isn't entirely clear because the question marks are missing on the French lyrics here. There should be one after 'Pandours', 'Escadrons' etc. This changes the meaning a little.
i.e.
Colonel, must we
Since the day is rising
Go and beat the drums
To awaken all the pandours?
