ای چراغ هر بهانه از تو روشن از تو روشن

ای که حرفای قشنگت منو آشتی داده با من

من و گنجشکای خونه دیدنت عادتمونه

به هوای دیدن‌تو پر می‌گیریم از تو لونه

باز میایم که مثل هر روز برامون دونه بپاشی

من و گنجشکا می‌میریم تو اگه خونه نباشی

همیشه اسم تو بوده اول و آخر حرفام

بس که اسم تو رو خوندم بوی تو داره نفس‌هام

عطر حرفای قشنگت عطر یک صحرا شقایق

تو همون شرمی که از اون سرخ گونه‌های عاشق

شعر من رنگ چشاته رنگ پاک بی‌ریایی

بهترین رنگی که دیدم رنگ زرد کهربایی

من و گنجشکای خونه دیدنت عادتمونه

به هوای دیدن‌تو پر می‌گیریم از تو لونه

we fly from the nest

We fly to you again

(Because) you are the one who throws birdseed for us **

Me and the sparrows will die

if you're not home

Your name has always been

the first and the last parts of my words ***

I call your name for so many times that

my breaths smell the scent of you

The odour of your beautiful words

(is like) the odour of a moor full of copses

You are that rosy colour on the face of a lover ^

My poem has the same colour as your eyes, the colour of pure chastity

the most beautiful colour I have ever seen, the colour of amber ^^

Me and the sparrows of this house

are accustomed to seeing you

For the sake of seeing you

we fly from the nest

* It means that "you're beyond every reason for pursuing this life (of mine)"
** It means that "you're so kind even to animals and you're the source of everything good here"
*** The beloved repeats the lover's name for so many times in her sentences (A sign of extreme love)
^ In Persian culture, when somebody loves somebody else very much and can't express it, they say that his/her face turns red. That red colour is so sweet in our culture.
^^ The yellowish-brown colour of an amber signifies purity and chastity in Persian culture.
