Why have you deleted the parenthesis? Those lyrics are heard by the choir.

Why did you keep this one and not the other?
According to what is heard in the video link, the lyrics I've translated are accurate. There is a choir adding lyrics in the background. Do me a favor and listen to the song.

This entry, correctly placed in Simon & Garfunkel's page, was submitted in 2019, while yours (the unpublished one, attached to 'English Folk') was published in December 2022. By now, considering you've been around for around 2 years, you may already know that in cases of duplicates the most recent page/copy is unpublished, in this case, the page you submitted. But I clearly seem to have thought something wrong.
As for the missing background vocals, I will check the video now. If they're really missing, they will be added. But not due to your once again incisive tone, which I again fail to understand the origins of. Anyway, the page you submitted elsewhere will remain unpublished.

I am referring to those stanzas ( they were there as such when I was translating the song)
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt (in the deep forest green)
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
(Tracing of sparrow on snow-crested ground)
Without no seams nor needle work
(Bedclothes the child of the mountain)
Then she'll be a true love of mine
(Sleeps unaware of the clarion call)
Tell her to find me an acre of land
(A sprinkling of leaves)
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
(Washes the grave with silvery tears)
Between the salt water and the sea strands
(And polishes a gun)
Then she'll be a true love of mine
Tell her to reap it with a sickle of leather
(Blazing in scarlet battalions)
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme
(Generals order their soldiers to kill)
And gather it all in a bunch of heather
(A cause they've long ago forgotten)
Then she'll be a true love of mine
