I was aware, just thought it was amusing that they wrote it in the lyrics. But maybe that's just me.
Okay, the namesakes sentence is a very icelandic thing.
If someone has the same name as you, you call them 'nafni/nafna'. So this is basically one raven calling all the other ravens to come along. Because they have the same name and all.

Many thanks for your insight. I have also been enamored with Scandanavia and its history. I really over this song Krummi. Could you suggest any other songs that are similar? The lyrics, beat/tempo/rhythm, instruments used and lyrics are captivating.
