Original lyrics

Translation
Halya Carries Water
Halya carries water,
Shoulder pole bends,
And Ivanko trails her
Like a periwinkle.
"Halya, my Halya,
Let me drink my fill of water,
You're so pretty -
Let me look at you"
"The water is in the well,
Go and drink your fill,
I will be in the garden -
Come and look"
"I came o the garden,
The cuckoo was calling,
And you, Halya,
Didn't respect me"
"Trail, periwinkle -
I will water you,
Come back, Ivanko,
I will respect you"
"No matter how much I trailed,
You didn't water me,
No matter how many times I returned,
You didn't respect me"
Halya carries water,
Shoulder pole bends,
And Ivanko trails her
Like a periwinkle.

What a gorgeous translation!
I'd like to add a comment to this...
The meaning of the word "Шанувати" is rather "to appease" than "to respect" here.
The guy blames the girl for she had been absent in a garden when he came there, though she had promised him to be there.
When the girl promises "Буду шанувати" if the guy come back, she means rather "to appease".
It is just to clarify some minor nuances and subtext of this song ;)
But still, it is nice translation! I like it!
