جادك الغيث

في ليالٍ كَتَمَتْ سِرَّ الهَوَى
 
بِالدُّجَى لَوْلا شُمُوسُ الغُرَرِ
 
مالَ نَجْمُ الْكَأْسِ فِيها وَهَوَى
 
مُسْتَقيمَ السَّيْرِ سَعْدَ الأَثَرِ
 
حِينَ لذَّ النَّوْمُ شَيْئًا أَوْ كَما
 
هَجَمَ الصُّبْحُ هُجومَ الْحَرَسِ
 
غارَتِ الشُّهْبُ بِنا أَوْ رُبَّما
 
أَثَّرَتْ فِينا عُيونُ النَّرْجِسِ
 
بِالَّذِي أَسْكَرَ مِنْ عَزْمِ اللَّمَى
 
كُلَّ عَذْبٍ تَحْتَسيهِ وَحَبَبْ
 
وَالَّذِي كَحَّلَ جَفْنَيْكَ بِما
 
سَجَدُ السِّحْرُ لَدَيْهِ وَاقْتَرَبْ
 
وَالَّذِي أَجْرَى دُموعِي عِنْدَما
 
عِنْدَما أَعْرَضْتَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سَبَبْ
 
ضَعْ عَلَى صَدْرِيَ يُمْناكَ فَمَا
 
أَجْدَرَ الماءَ بِإِطْفاءِ اللَّهَبْ
 
يا أُهَيْلَ الحَيِّ مِنْ وادِي الغَضَى
 
وَبِقَلْبي مَسْكَنٌ أَنْتُمْ بِهِ
 
ضَاقَ عَنْ وَجْدِي بِكُمْ رَحْبُ الْفَضَا
 
لا أُبالي شَرْقَهُ مِنْ غَرْبِهِ
 
أَحْوَرُ المُقْلَةِ مَعْسولُ اللَّمَى
 
جَالَ في النَّفْسِ مَجَالَ النَّفَسِ
 
سَدَّدَ السَّهْمَ فَأَصْمَى إِذْ رَمَى
 
بِفُؤادِي نَبْلَةَ المُفْتَرِسِ
 
جادك الغيث إذا الغيث همى
 
يا زمان الوصل بالأندلس
 
لم يكن وصلك إلى حلماً
 
في الكرى أو خلسة المختلس

Generous rains in Anduls

In nights could hide secret of love
By the darkness
 
If only the mornings suns wouldn't expose it
 
Where star of cup leaned forwards before it fell down (fell in love)
Steadily walked
Left joyful memory
 
When sleep got sweetened or
At time of the morning's attack,was like the guardian soldiers
 
The stars vanished taking us with them or maybe it's the influence of the Narcissus' eyes
 
Swear to the one who got drunk
By the soft lips
And every oath you watered and taken
 
And to the one who beautified your eyes with natural eyeliner
 
When you say no
The magic prostrates to you
And you get stubborn
 
And to the one (you) who made my tears to run
When he said no without excuse

Only the water would turn off the fire
