Until We Meet Again

I search for the stars when the spring seduces me
The journey begins, here and everywhere
Beloved distance1, when love touches me
Here and everywhere, my nights become long

Sometimes I feel alone
Even when I feel I'm free
Because at some point in this night
I woke up with longing
And I hold you tight until we meet again
meet again - until we meet again
meet again - until we meet again

For many days, streets have been reflected in the light
Here and everywhere, as though it has been an eternity
Since many days freedom has shown its face
Here and everywhere, live without space and time

Sometimes I feel alone
Even when I feel I'm free
Because at some point in this night
I woke up with longing
And I hold you tight until we meet again
meet again - until we meet again
meet again - until we meet again

Good bye - until we meet again ...
(Because at some point in that night
I woke up with longing
Because at some point in that night
I woke up with longing
Because at some point in that night
I woke up with longing)

>"Geliebte Ferne, ..." really the distance is meant, not a person.
(It is like a yearning to distant places, fantasies ... )
Your interpretation could be right aswell though.
;)

>" Wiederseh'n - bis wir uns wiederseh'n
Wiederseh'n - bis wir uns wiederseh'n"
My interpretation is that "Wiederseh'n" is just a phonetic repetition, not "Good bye".
Your interpretation could be right aswell though.

I think you're probably right on both counts. On the first one it's not that crystal clear though, added a footnote to the corrections I made. On the second one, while both are possible, I probably was being a bit too poetic i'll admit heh. Thanks for the feedback, as helpful as always :)
