There are a few lines that don't make much sense in English like "the aunt of moon". Foot note 4 is incorrect. He is describing her as the mistress of all other women no matter what skin colors they have (white, ginger and brunettes). Good effort nevertheless.

1 - Oud is an aroma tree and a perfume. Arabic national musical instrument also has this name.
2 - the same oud tree (Aquilaria malaccensis).
3 - in the Arabic poetry a girl or a woman sometimes called "a moon" or "a full moon" or "a sister\aunt of moon'. It means she has light skin, rounded face and shines like a moon.
4 - the author ment, she has white skin, red lips and cheeks and black hair.
5 - reference to Laylat al-Qadr, which is in Islamic belief the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
