My life is meant for you
Forgive me, I was walking around here and I saw a light in your bedroom.
Forgive my attitude, perhaps I should have called instead of popping up like this.
Forgive me, fate decided it that way and I am back here now.
I think I made a mistake, how pretty you look, I cannot go on.
My life is meant for you, and only for you.
As I was trying to explain, I took her hand and tried to kiss her
My life is meant for you and only for you, hug me
and you'll see that there is still fire burning inside us.
You don't know what a bad time one can have when far away from you.
Every day I tried to love somebody else looking like you.
You see, I came back today, and I'm embarrassed in front of you, face to face.
If I can stay tell me, and if I have to leave, forgive me, cos I still....
My life is meant for you, and only for you.
As I was trying to explain, I took her hand and tried to kiss her
My life is meant for you, and only for you,
hug me and you'll see and there is still fire burning inside us.
My life is meant for you...

Maybe a native English speaker can give me a suggestion for the title? "You are my life" was an option, but the dramatic "you" at the end of the phrase is lost, and the position is important to me... On the other hand, "my life is you" does not sound good to me.
"Fuego que apagar" means literally "a fire to put out" or "a fire that needs to be put out" but "que apagar" did not seem to me necessary for the translation.
This was the ending song of a Venezuelan soap opera (Cristal) in the early 90s, which was very popular in Spain. My mother loved this song and it reminds me of her, thanks for uploading.
