Original lyrics

Translation
The Vixen Has Become Widowed
The vixen has become widowed
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
With twelve small kits
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
The vixen speaks
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
My children, I won't be seeing you *
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
Dear mama, you will see us
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
On a market stall in the street
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
In a hunter's purse
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
Around bolyar's neck **
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
The vixen has become widowed
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
With twelve small kits
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
The vixen speaks
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh
My children, I won't be seeing you
Dee-leh-doh dee-lee-leh-doh dee-leh-doh

Author's comments:
* alternative translation is possible here: I don't want to see you meaning that the vixen does not want to see her kits being sold on a market stall and then hanging around someone's neck. It's a bit dubious because the Bulgarian verb "ща" (equivalent to the English verb "will") is also an auxiliary verb to make the future tense, besides meaning simply "want" (in this case negative - "don't want").
** bolyars (or boyars) were the members of the high Bulgarian medieval (feudal) aristocracy, second only to the ruling King or Prince, roughly equivalent in rank to the English Duke, Marquis or Count, more like Count I guess, but I'm not very sure.
