Hello, to begin with I'd like to thank you for your translation.
I just want to correct a "mistake" (if I can call it this way, because the literal translation is actually correct) that somewhat changes the meaning of the song but it's not so serious anyway.
I noticed there are some feminine pronouns in your translation which refer to "VON" and I understand why, because I know that "VON” is an Icelandic feminine noun, that's why you translated it here as “she”. However, this “mistake” makes the song (for those who don't know that "VON" is a feminine noun) look as if it’s talking about someone, while it is only about hope. This is why I would recommend you change the “she”s to “it”s, so that we can correctly understand this beautiful beyond words song.
Also, it's not "þegar allt sýnist stillt" but it's actually "Veröld sýnist stillt".
This is obviously just a friendly advice, bye. ;)

Personally, I prefer "she" over "it" since the translation, in my humble opinion, sounds more poetic that way.
