Or rather stay there with me, you could settle down at my house,

You could snuggle with me once, then fondle me,

You could play the piano once, and meanwhile sing your air,

Then you could fall silent, and look at me puzzled,
You could wait for some applause, you could wait, you could wait...
You could bath me once, then wipe me,
Then you could comb my hair, then also paint me.
You could draw me once, then colour me,
Then you could varnish me, then you'd really love me.
You could knock on my door once, like it wasn't even you,
Then you could laugh aloud, like it was actually you.
You could engage me once, buy me a diamond ring.
And then you could even do like you really existed...
