I can underatand that you don't like homosexuals/lesbians but this song has nothing to do about them. Please don't be so rude.
On both of the translations lepakot (bats) are translated to be meant as lesbians, but infact the song is about dismantling this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lepakko
"Lepakko or Lepakkoluola was a place for independent youth culture in Helsinki, Finland, functioning from 1979 to 1999."
Thanks, I'm interested in a better understanding. Can you explain at least the mainly ones of these slang words, jokes etc.?
:-)
The user hasn't been active for years, but another user has translated the song too and explained some things: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/helsinki-shangri-la-helsinki-shangri-la.h...
Lesbians=Lepakot asiavirhe. Eiköhän tarkoitettu Lepakkoa siis sitä vallattua nyt lopetettua kiinteistöä Helsingissä.
Kosmo, it seems that you posted your comment three times on this page.

It's full of slang words, Finland inside jokes and local news. Understanding the translation isn't guaranteed.
