The other day, in the passage, while I was on my regular afternoon coffee
I ran into Neda, my high school sweetheart.
She used to be the 'it' thing back then
She's changed a lot over the years.
She tells me she's toiling in some godforsaken company
That she's languishing a bit and boring herself to death
As for me, I'm still single, and have nothing against
stopping by her place and having a drink.
Neda isn't so arrogant anymore.
Neda says yes much easier now.
I watch her as she takes her clothes off, oh how professionaly she does it.
And I ask her if she remembers those days
When she used to say no to one after another of us
She just laughs and say, oh let it go, I was young.
