Father, Mother and Land of Israel

I have two parents who love to go on hikes
They've been on foot around the whole of Israel
When I was one year old they went to the Galilee
And carried me with them in their backpack.

Every Shabbat we go out together
Hat on the head and water bottle by our side
Sometimes to the sand dunes to visit the (nature) reserve
Sometimes on the Carmel to see a cave.

"Father, Mother, a little bit slower
Father, Mother, wait a little while.
There's nowhere to rush and nowhere to hurry
The land of Israel is here and will remain forever."

I've already seen the flowering on Mt Gilboa
and saw the sunrise from Mt Tabor
I've already climbed to Massada on the snake path
To my parents I always called out in a weak voice:

"Father, Mother, a little bit slower
Father, Mother, wait a little while.
There's nowhere to rush and nowhere to hurry
The land of Israel is here and will remain forever."
