I Lost All People

I lost all people for her
I endured blame for her

How could she leave me after all this?
I didn't imagine she'd betray me one day

My life was in her hands and she betrayed me
My life returned to me and she lost me

I wasn't unfair, you were unfair on me
He who was treated unfairly is lucky1
From the depths of my heart, I say thank you, you who sold me out
You didn't wait on me for long when you were deceiving me

I pray that you are living comfortably now that I'm gone
so that you would mind your own business and leave me to mind my own business

Tomorrow you will know, tomorrow you'll regret the past
But sadly, all this will happen for nothing

You were unjust, don't come and say "I wish"
I now live without you and I am content with that

  • 1. This is an Arabic idiom, it simply means: It is better to be the one being treated unfairly rather than being someone who treats people badly. So yeah, It's a little masochistic this idiom.
