غزال وما يصيدونه
وما لاحه سهم صياد

سحرني وسلمت بالحال
لا صايد ولا مصيود
يسألني بعد وينه
غزال ويرعى بالجنه
وسهامه بطرف عينه
عيونه من سواد الليل
وكل نظرة بسهم جارح
من خده الورود تغار
وشعره بلا مشط سارح
فز من رميتي وهاجر
أصيل وراح من ايدي
أش قد حاولت ألقاه
هلال وغاب من عيدي
يا ريت الجرح ما يطيب
وأظل اني على هالحال
أبقى بحرقة صوابي
حتى أتذكر القتال

Ghazal
A dear and they don't capture... no hunter's arrow saw it
it capture with its eye look... no way, it's a dream to be captured
I saw it and aimed my arrow... I was injured by its eyes
It hit me with bewitched arrow... I complained because of it
It hit me and aimed the fondness
It charmed me and I gave up at once

Not hunter nor hunted, asking me where it is
A gazelle eating from heaven and its arrows in its eye margin
its eyes' (darkness) are from night darkness... and each look made injurious arrow
From its cheek, flowers are jealous... and its hair (fur) without comb is combed
