Arrodíllate

Arrodíllate si quieres volver
A dormir en mi cama
Yo ya me canse
De estarte aguantando
Que hablas y hablas
Hasta aquí llegue
Le has pegado cachetadas a mi orgullo
Si tú sabes que este corazón fue tuyo
Ven y ruega si me quieres ver volver

"Arrodíllate" quiero darme el gusto
De verte humillada
Y taparte la boca
Hoy vas a probar
El rencor y sabor
Que te da una derrota
Pa que te la tragues
Y al final de cuentas
La verdad no engorda

"Arrodíllate" voy a disfrutar
Que se te hinchen los ojos
Y brote tu llanto
Y que me supliques
Que aunque te lastima
No quieres soltarlo
Pues te diste cuenta
Que un amor tan grande
No vas a encontrarlo

Hasta aquí llegue
Le has pegado cachetadas a mi orgullo
Si tú sabes que este corazón fue tuyo
Ven y ruega si me quieres ver volver

"Arrodíllate" quiero darme el gusto
De verte humillada
Y taparte la boca
Hoy vas a probar

Que te da una derrota
Pa que te la tragues
Y al final de cuentas
La verdad no engorda

Y que me supliques
Que aunque te lastima
No quieres soltarlo
Pues te diste cuenta
Que un amor tan grande
No vas a encontrarlo

Get on your knees

Get on your knees if you want to come back
to sleep in my bed.
I am tired already
of putting up with
your talking and talking.
I came this far,
you have slapped my pride.
If you know that this heart was yours,
come and beg, if you want to see me back.

Get on your knees, I want to have the pleasure
to see you humiliated,
and to make you shut up.
Today you are going to taste
the rancor and flavor
that a defeat gives you,
so that you swallow it
and, after all,
the truth doesn't make you fat.

Get on your knees, I am going to enjoy
to see you with swollen eyes,
and your tears flowing,
begging me that
even if it hurts you
you don't want to let go
'cause you realized
that you are not going to find
such a great love.

Excellent
(pero también cruel)

Thank you Rosa, my suggestions:
taparte la boca > make you swallow your tongue
La verdad no engorda > ... make you fat
Y brote tu llanto > and with your tears flowing
No vas a encontrarlo > ... it (OR that you're not going to / find such a great love)

O.K. Evan,
1. I couldn't say "make you swallow" because I use that word further down, where it's needed.
2. "La verdad no engorda" is an expression I never heard (etimología mejicana), but it goes with 'swallowing the results of the defeat' so, I used it. The actual saying is: "La verdad hiere pero no mata".
3. I thought that what I had, "to see you with swollen eyes/and flowing cry/begging me that" had a nice beat but, anyway, I made a change.
4. I couldn't use "it" because the object is already mentioned; better the second choice.

Gracias por todo.

You're welcome, Rosa, I don't know either any mexican saying about truth but I just guessed it from the swallowing that's going on
