Translation
Tonight
Plunged* into me, I open myself up one last time
I hit rock bottom, I lost my voice
Plunged into me, she loosened the sounds
Even changed her name to cry my tears
I tattooed her** soul
A woman's warmth
I learned how to be born
She bangs in my head
Tonight, both our bodies mingle
Proud of a perfect embrace
And, if she wants life,
Well I will give her mine
She knew how to free me
From my memories
Both our bodies mingle,
She bangs in my head.
Plunged into me, she opened the deep end to me
Her voice as a furrow to guide my steps
I tattoed her soul
Under my ice-cold skin
I learned how to be born
She bangs in my head
I shall burn the fires, drown your rivers, put my eyes out
I shall carve her name, change the seasons if she wants me to
Burn, burn, burn this world x 2

*For each "plongez", I would have written "plongée", since he speaks of (probably) a girlfriend of some sorts who affects him in different ways. My translation reflects this. That's why you won't read : "Dive into myself/me..." but more "Plunged into me..." even it doesn't sound as good as in French.
**The French lyrics are "son âme" so, I wrote "her". There's a mistake in the lyrics transcription.
