Depeche Mode Songs Written by Dave Gahan
Martin L. Gore has been the main and for years, the only composer & lyricist for Depeche Mode songs (with an exception of some songs from their first album Speak And Spell (1981) written by Vince Clark and some really few songs written by Alan Wilder in following albums).
During the making of the album Exciter (2001), frontman Dave Gahan expressed his desire to write songs for the band and his discontent for songs he had composed and weren't accepted. Thus, from 2005 and after, Dave Gahan is contributing to Depeche Mode also by co-writting songs ⬇️
