A Heart Deprived Of Blood
Click to see the original lyrics (Italian (Medieval))
The rain beats the waves
Between the stones, only sighs...
Ever since I first glimpsed this earth
It has been hostile towards me
Celestial sun
Spirit of mental riddle
Without words
Whose sweetness hurts me
I will not live...
Painful words
You will see, vain destiny
That a heart deprived of blood
Can no longer sing
Half winter, half summer...
Exiled, deprived of you
My love runs away
And makes me a slave of the river
I laugh and I cry
Life disgusts me
And I hate myself
He who I so wanted to live
Has waged war against me
Answer me, Lord
Answer me!
I can no longer speak
Painful words
You will see, vain destiny
That a heart deprived of blood...
- 1. heaven.

I translated this last year, I think. I never came back to make any corrections, but I've left it as it's connected to the previous line "A heart deprived of blood, that longs (wants) to see the sky; then die". Oh, and I translated another song to English; if you're interested take a shot at translating it to Portuguese here.
Russia is waging a disgraceful war on Ukraine. Stand With Ukraine!

I did not translate this, the following is the translation given in 1997's 'Carmine Meo' booklet. The booklet did not include one small part of the lyrics in English.
