Ruf der Freiheit
Komm, lass uns reiten
Auf den Gezeiten
An altem Herzleid zieh'n wir vorbei
Komm lass uns fliegen
Fesseln verbiegen
Dann haltet euch dran fest
Bevor der Zahn der Zeit
Uns allen gibt den Rest
Komm, lass uns leben
Schulden vergeben
Lass uns vergessen, was uns getrennt
Lasst uns verzeih'n
Dann haltet euch dran fest
Bevor der Zahn der Zeit
Uns allen gibt den Rest

Call of Freedom
Come, let's ride
On the tide
Past old heatbreak, we move
Come, let's fly
Bend shackles
Waves and storm winds set us free
We ride the waters
On wooden horses
The whips crack from the masts and cloth
We give the spurs
The gaze rushes forward
Restless freedom – a blessing and curse
Hey-hey-hey! Do youse¹ hear the call of freedom?
Then don't wait too long,
Cause it goes way too fast – way too fast
Hey-hey-hey! Do youse hear the call of freedom?
Then hold on to it tight
Before the ravages of time
Gives us all the rest
Come, let's live
Forgive debts
Let's forget what separates us
Let us forgive
No time for hate
He who rests, rusts, so live in the moment
Hey-hey-hey! Do youse hear the call of freedom?
Then don't wait too long,
Cause it goes way too fast – way too fast
Hey-hey-hey! Do youse hear the call of freedom?
Then hold on to it tight
Before the ravages of time
Gives us all the rrst

Russia is waging a disgraceful war on Ukraine. Stand With Ukraine!
This translation uses a liberal translation. Technicalities described below.
¹ "Youse" was used here as the plural form of 'you' ("ihr") as German differentiates between singular & plural "you" and was appropriate.
I felt inserting the article made sense in English for "a blessing and curse".
"He who rests, rusts" is directly just "Who rests, rusts". I felt using "he" as epicene (both gendered and gender non-specific) was appropriate and sounded better in this context.
