Similarly, is "Ein Brennen der Glut" really a "a flash of light"? I don't speak German, but AI think it's "a burning ember / a burning of embers" with a similar darkening in meaning from the original text
About translator
Perhaps 'ein Leitbild' would translate better as 'a mission statement'. I guess that the band chose this word on purpose, they could have left 'vision' which is the same in both languages, if they wanted to. I think they wanted to make the song sound more fascistic (in a humourous way, of course!).
