Translation
Life
Life is so beautiful,
and nothing else compares,
God sent us on this earth
and only he will call us to his side.
Life is so beautiful,
and nothing else compares,
we all have to die,
and we'll all go to the grave.1
With or without riches, you'll go
and you won't remain just because of what you possess
children, adults, everyone will come home2
and you'll never see them return
for whatever they've left behind,
this will never happen,3
we're on our way to heaven,
where the Goddess will shelter us in her arms.
When we leave, the house will remain dark
from afternoon till morning, those who remain
will weep at the altar, and they'll imagine themselves
standing in the middle of the sea, asking the Goddess
to keep your heart safe.
Let no one say that they're not going,
we all have to leave,
and when the day approaches,
we'll meet with those who've already left.
With or without riches, you'll go
and you won't remain just because of what you possess
we're on our way to heaven,
where the Goddess will shelter us in her arms.

Canción también es conocida como "Guendanabi Xhianga Sicarú". La cancion original se llama "La última palabra" por Daniel Pineda, pero esta es una traducción al Zapotec con letras muy distintas por Juan Stubi. Here's a beautiful version by Felipe Toledo
