חרש שטה לה חרש
ספינה קטנה בנהר הנרדם
ספינת חיי היא
על פני המים
נושאת היא את נעורי אל סופם.
על פני הזרם
שטה לה חרש
וערפל את הנחל יעטוף
הרחק בשקט
אראה צוחקת
את ילדותי שנותרה על החוף.
 
עוד יפרח פה אביב
