But is there a reason why, in your translation, twice you skipped the following verse: "Puisque tout est éphémère"?
Also, regarding the following verse in the source lyrics, which appears four times, twice you have translated it (though not exactly the same), and twice you altogether skipped the verse in the translation: "Tant qu'on éclaire on espère".
In addition, you have translated "(Tant que je peux) je t'éclaire" as "I light you up." In English, "to light up" someone usually means to cause someone to become noticeably excited or animated. You probably meant to say either "I enlighten you", or "I light up the way for you" (figuratively).
