since between you and I it couldn't be.
In love, some win others lose
what you and I had, was an illusion.
The departure happened and together we cried,
here, may end our life,
it isn't going to be honeymoon
together, to the altar, we won't go.
It is not going to be honeymoon,
may the Good Lord bless you
and we will part, we both.

Rosa, I sometimes forget where my head is. But "depart" doesn't mean to go in different directions. They might as well pick up their trunks and leave for Paris together. You may say "we'll be parted, we're going to part, or just we are parting." whichever fits the rhythm. It reminds me one of my favourite Byron's poems. "When we two parted in silence and tears, Half broken hearted to sever for years" Winter blues is in the air! :cry:

Rosa, dear, departure is a noun, I think "we'll part, we both" sounds better. I'm not sure about the rhythm though. It's possible to say "we'll sever" to have more syllables but it looks a bit bookish. I'll leave it up to you as you have more experience in making it sound poetic. :)
