I'm not sure for this one :

Il y avait du temps de grand-maman -> There was time for Grandma

I think your translation is more like "Il y avait du temps pour Grand-Maman" isnt'it?
Or it's more "There was, in the time of Grandma" or something like that.

Est-ce pour cela que l'on te pleure -> Is that why you're crying? It's more like "Is that why we are crying to you?" or something like that.

I hope you can understand what I wrote ;-)

Merci beaucoup, j'ai changé les paroles, et oui vous avez raison, "There was time for Grandma" c'est plutôt "Il y avait du temps pour Grand-Maman" ^^

I saw this song title and was hoping it would be something Pythonesque. Unfortunately not. Oh well.

There's not much I can take issue with here. It's kind of hard to follow in the French, in no small part because there's NO STINKING PUNCTUATION!!!!! I think the third line of the song in French actually has a sentence break in it. In fact, two, since I think there should be a period at the end of the preceding line as well. So it would go something like this:

Le temps a passé. Seules restent les pensées.

Which of course translates as:

Time passed. Only thoughts remain.

[A minute passed. Then another minute passed. Another minute passed quickly past. And then . . . INTERCOURSE THE PENGUIN! Sorry. I couldn't help myself. And now for something completely different.]

Not that it makes a whole lot more sense like this, either. Actually, now I notice that it's "seules," feminine and plural, to agree with "pensées." So it could mean something about "lonely thoughts." I don't know. This one is pretty murky.

des oiseaux sur les feuilles et qui chantaient
I would translate this as:
The birds on the leaves and they sang.
Singing leaves, what a concept . . .

In the next to last line, it's "ou" and not "où" which would change the meaning signficantly. Unless, of course, it's another transcription error.

For "on te pleure" I believe this translates more as "we are crying for you," in the sense of mourning your passing.

OK. This has depressed me enough. I'm leaving now.
