Translation

Dear (Sweetheart)

The sorrows of the nights has put me in misery, my dear;
I've become helpless with the heart, and content to death, "hawar"*;
My dear sweetheart, my enchanting, when I don't see you for a moment, sleep is forbidden to me;
The ways of charm, are perfect in you;
Oh justice! Nobody is appearing my dear;
Nobody is aware of anybody's pain my dear;
My dear sweetheart, my enchanting, when I don't see you for a moment, sleep is forbidden to me;
The ways of charm, are perfect in you;
I am from Kermanshah, My lover from Ghasr-e-Shirin (cities in Iran)
I fell in love, I have no fault, "hawar";
My dear sweetheart, my enchanting, when I don't see you for a moment, sleep is forbidden to me;
The ways of charm, are perfect in you;

* "hawar" is an expression of exhaustion due to injustice

Is that the sole reason for this translation receiving one star? If so, please remove your vote as it's not justified, and simply ask the user who submitted this translation to remove or alter his comment. Else, I'll ask for it to be removed.

And as far as I know, Kurdish is indeed related to Iranian languages when it comes to the language family and its evolution: Indo-European > Indo-Iranian > Iranian > Western > Northwestern > Kurdish. You may check it in the Indo-European evolution tree a href>.

As Knee427 mentioned, Kurdish is categorized as a branch of Iranian languages by linguistics.

I only mentioned that fact, so that those who are interested in learning either the Kurdish language or Farsi (Persian) and stumble across this song would be aware of the reason behind the similarities between the two languages they may identify while reading the lyrics.
