Man is a creator
Just like so many others
Being a child, I learned to sweat,
I didn't know schools
Nor I knew what “to play” meant!

Early in the morning
And next to my dad
I grew up working.
Only with my skill
I worked as a carpenter,
a plasterer and a builder
a plumber and a turner,
Curse, because it would be a glance

Man is a creator.
I raise a house
Or I build a road
I add taste to the wine
I pull out a little smoke out of the factory.
I go to the bottom of the earth
And I conquer the summits
I walk through the stars
and I traverse the forest.
I learned vocabulary
Of the master, the owner, and the manager,
They killed me so many times
For having raised my voice against them
But from the ground, I get up
