Original lyrics

Translation
It's getting dark
It's getting dark today once again
and my favorite part of the day comes
fitting perfectly like a shirt
with the melancholy in my heart, is getting dark.
Being a child of the night for all my life i cant' stand mornings
with all those gentlemen tight in their cashmeres.
I am alive only during night, with all those that I love
the illegal and the underprivileged ones.
It's getting dark today once again
and i'm timidly getting down to sing
The dark is embracing me like a mother
in an hour like that I want to die, it's getting dark.
Being a child of the night...
