Original lyrics
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Sa stijenama, s planinama
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Sa pticama u svitanja
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Na dnu vode sa ribama
U pustinji sa gazelama
S poludjelim uzdasim
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Sa Isaom gor' na nebu
Sa Musaom na Sinaju
Sa štapom u rukama mu
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Sa Ejjubom na mukama
Sa Jakubom u suzama
Sa Muhammedom miljenikom
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Hvale, slave On je vrijedan
Sa značenjem On je Jedan
Allah, Allah, zikir stalan
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
Dunjaluk sam sagledao
Prazne priče napustio
I bosonog bih hodio –
Zvao bih Te, Gospodaru
- 1. Posljednja strofa, poznata kao šah-bejt, govori o autoru ilahije. U ovom slučaju to je Junus Emre, još ponzat i kao Ašik Junus

Translation
I would call You, oh Lord
With the rocks, with the mountains
I would call You, oh Lord
With the birds in the dawn
I would call You, oh Lord
On the bottom of the sea, with the fishes
In the dessert, with the gazelles
With crazy sighs
I would call You, oh Lord
With Jesus up on the heaven
With Moses on Sinai
With the staff in his hands
I would call You, oh Lord
With Job in pains
With Jacob in tears
With Muhammad, the favorite
I would call You, oh Lord
Of thanks and praises He is worthy
With the meaning He is One
God, God – constant remembrance1
I would call You, oh Lord
I saw this world2
And left empty talks
Even barefoot I would walk –
I would call You, oh Lord
Yunus3 is praying using all words
With the warblers, the bulbuls
With God's slaves
I would call You, oh Lord
