گرگ

گرگِ بیرون دارد و گرگِ درون
حلقه حلقه گرگ، پیرامون ما
سیرشان هرگز نسازد خون ما
گر چنین بر ما بزرگی می‌کنند
بره می‌بینند و گرگی می‌کنند
 
گفت دانایی که گرگی خیره‌سر
هست پنهان در نهادِ هر بشر
لاجرم جاری‌ست پیکاری ستُرگ
روز و شب، مابین این انسان و گرگ
 
زور بازو چاره‌ی این گرگ نیست
صاحبِ اندیشه داند چاره چیست
ای بسا انسان رنجورِ پریش
سخت پیچیده گلوی گرگِ خویش
 
هر که با گرگش مدارا می‌کند
خلق و خوی گرگ پیدا می‌کند

روز پیری گرچه باشی همچو شیر
ناتوانی در مصاف گرگ پیر
 
هر که گرگش را دراندازد به خاک
رفته‌رفته می‌شود انسان پاک
وآن که از گرگش خورد هر دم شکست
گرچه انسان می‌نُماید گرگ هست
 
هر که با گرگش مدارا می‌کند
خلق و خوی گرگ پیدا می‌کند
