• 1. στο πρίμα βίστα is the Greek way of rendering the Italian phrase "a prima vista," which literally means "at first glance." The Italian phrase has the secondary meaning "sight read," i.e. the ability of a skilled musician to produce music simply by reading the score without having ever heard it performed before by anyone else. The Italianate phrase works metaphorically here to indicate the immediate way the bodies of this song's two characters respond to each other on the dance floor. Greek has its own expressions for situations where love or some other outcome happens very rapidly and naturally. For instance Ερωτευτήκανε με την πρώτη ματιά means "They fell in love at first sight." And Έμαθε ποδήλατο με την πρώτη means "He learned to ride the bicycle with the first try." I assume that the lyricist preferred the Italianate phrase στο πρίμα βίστα here because βίστα produces an end-rhyme with πίστα from line 2 of this verse.
