Les amours dévouées
The Devoted Loves
We don’t live abroad, but well within
the distance, us, lovers separated
By the haunted docks with moored boats
That keep us on the edge of feelings
But I am coming and the girls that are waiting for you
will never wait for you again
Or worry excessively
for that diamond that I have
If I must myself set out
the map of a devotee
No one has a hold over me like you do,
on my breath that stays jagged
Races against the wind
that no longer matter now
That we've said we belong to each other
But I am coming and the girls that are waiting for you
will never wait for you again
Or worry excessively
for that diamond that I have
If I must myself set out
the map of a devotee

How does
"Ou se fassent un sang d’encre"
change from
"Or draw blood with ink"
to
"Or worry excessively"
?
What am I missing here?
"Feire un sang d'encre" is a idiom and it means "to be very worried"...
Just like when you say in English that you're "blue" but you mean to say that you're sad, get it?
It's originated in the believes about blood disturbs in the 19th century. It was believed that the "excess of blood" caused people to feel anguished, and depressed and that this condition would give a strong dark color to the blood (faire un sang d'encre = have a ink-like blood). If you can read French here is a more elaborated explanation:
