Day light is the reason she must wait for the sunrise.
Well, on the one hand I agree, but on the other the main thought here is "SUNRISE is coming soon, and it is about to change into the dusk later", so I've decided not to translate the word "daylight" as it is redundant here.

it's not that ... you've taken away the reason for her to wait for the sunrise, the music it's self requires the line. It's the emphasis of the text . Listen to the music if you have time.

We don't actually say like "мушу чекати" in that case. It is not in Ukrainian style.
